i have come across some brilliant ideas by students, they wanted to commercialize but the usual hiccups of how to start and what to do ,,,and another big question "will this work"?,,,,and what if i fail,,,its easy to tell entrepreneurs should learn to fail,,but for a student his first startup is like a baby child,,,,so its really difficult,,,

and i would like to know the purpose of this campaign,,is anything new going to be formed like counseling or help for wannabe entrepreneurs,,,,,and how will wannabe entrepreneurs benefited from this campaign,,,

Entrepreneurship is ignited at heart and pursued by will. I do not think that formal education at our institutions kills the spirit of those who choose to think differently. A donkey can never be a horse, nor for that matter, will a horse be every restrained of his energy. People with entrepreneurship intuition definitely take up what they have aspired to. Those who don't, certainly miss the capability do so. Weak ones start and move out at the very first failure.
One thing, however, I must admit that free thinking environment must be provided. I do not believe that it must be institutions that alone solder the responsibility. If a child gets it at home, existing institutions with all its constraints become a challenging environment, whereby the kid exercises his basic lessons, and if he succeeds, remains a free thinker; and an entrepreneur if he so wants to be.

Very insightful stuff, particularly the bit when Mr. Soparkar stressed the need for society to change (its mindset) to enable youngsters to think big.

It is all very interesting to talk about ideas and how it is important .
But very often we see that in many fields, when someone comes up with a brilliant idea/ invention, that product is not allowed to get commercialized as it is seen as a threat to an existing well established product.

What I have realized is that any idea can only be an innovation that doesnt ruffle the feathers of the big birds in the industry. My observation is not always the rule, but I have come across instances when brilliance has been snuffed.

New ideas are always welcomed.. but do you agree that existing educational scenario which is already structured and tightly constrained with fixed inputs restrict yougth also to generate new ideas ..

Do you all agree that environment where free “Thinking” happens, has to be built in our educational systems.

Do you agree that those who are not trapped in boundaries of structure of education and organizations are better thinkers and ideators ?
