One Month : Retrospect
Its been slightly over a month since I’ve started publishing on this blog and its more or less coming to shape. I’m pretty much happy with the way things have turned out and I’m continuosly looking at ways to improve it. Its a lot like moving into a new apartment. You keep changing things – putting new furniture, re-arranging existing ones and throwing out things that you know you wouldn’t really use. Thats probably called re-arranging, but in web terminology its now famously called re-aligning. There will be subtle changes in and around this place, some of which you would hardly notice.
I dont get to spend as much time as I’d love to on this site but whenever I do, there are a few people who’ve helped me speeden the process. My friends for their invaluable inputs and feedback. Also Justin and Marrku for extending support on their excellent plugins. Guys, thank you very much. Really appreciate all the help.

Hey adel,
you have built a very good site here dude.
A simple cool site. It makes navigation a whole lot easier.
Keep improving.
I thot i will give you a suggestion.
The menu bar on the top. When i hover over it the whole pages bounces (in firefox), and in IE i am not able to see these animations if the security level is high.
Since it looks like you are planning a simple site, make it unversally same.
cheers,

Kripa, you’re right. The menu is still a bit quirky in firefox and I suspect that to be a styling issue. I’ve got to dig into the stylesheets and correct it.
As far as IE is concered, I hardly use it but do test occasionally to make sure things dont look all that bad in it. Thanks man!

Very nice interface adel. I like your site a lot. Dont worry about the bouncing of the title bar in firefox. It happens at a lot of sites that use DHTML. I dont know what the exact issue though.
I did read about you taking credit for me to start blogging on your home page. Just to clarify i started blogging because one of my classes required me to start blogging on every day class work at ITP. I then moved to blogger because of spam issues. Pioneer, you can take credit for saaransh and john though ;-)

In some ways this site, from an aesthetic point of view is what I thought you would build. Neat. Though I am not a big fan of how the adel anwar is represented on the top-right but then, who am I?? :-)

Boys will be boys!! :-)
